Adrian Police Explorers Post 584
The Adrian Police Explorers are a community oriented organization that
take young adults interested in a career in law enforcement and teaches
them all about the different aspects of the feild. We are involved in
many activites in the community from directing traffic during parades
to providing security at Summer Fest in down town Adrian. We do a great
deal of hands-on training instructed by actual police officers. Some of
the training includes Building Entery/Search, Felony Traffic Stops,
Domestic Violence, Arson Investigation, and Narcotics.
To Qualify:
-You must be between the ages of 14-21
-Maintain a 2.0 (C) average in school. Members who have
graduated with an approved diploma or GED equivalent are exempt.
-Provide three references
-Agree to undergo a background investigation
(Membership is not open to anyone with either a felony conviction or a misdemeanor driving conviction)
Currently our meetings are held every first and third Saturday of every month
